Studio Legale Amorese is a boutique corporate-commercial law practice,
dedicated to serving our Italian and international clients with the
highest standards of service and professional excellence.
Founded in 1973, the firm has developed a sophisticated corporate law
practice with a particular emphasis on corporate-commercial law, mergers
and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, corporate governance,
competition/antitrust, and corporate restructuring. We have represented
a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to small- and
medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), interested in doing business in Italy.
An International Perspective
Advising and representing international clients investing and conducting
business in Italy is a core area of our practice. Our partners are international
commercial lawyers, educated in both the civil and common law systems,
and licensed to practice law in Italy, the United States (New York),
and Canada (Ontario). We understand the needs of international investors,
having acted for multinational clients across numerous jurisdictions.
Our offices are located in Bergamo and London. We maintain a representative
office in New York, and have developed a broad international network
of “best friend” law firms throughout Europe, the United
States and Canada. Through these relationships and associations, we
are well-positioned to assist our clients wherever their business may
take them.
Focused on Business Law
Business law is our focus and our passion. Two of our partners have
earned Masters (LL.M.) degrees in business law from The Harvard Law
School. One partner holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Italian corporate law,
while another has practiced business law internationally with leading
law firms in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Our unique
combination of international education and experience provides clients
with a local partner they can depend upon and turn to for creative legal
solutions in Italy.
Active Members of the Business Community
We are active in the Italian business community, and find the daily
interaction with colleagues and business people to be both instructive
and refreshing aspects of our legal practice. We are members and supporters
of the Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the UK, the British-Italian
Society, the Italian Cultural Institute (London), and the Italian Chamber
of Commerce of Canada (Toronto Chapter).
